Understand the lot risk score
How to read risk buckets without treating the score as an automatic bid decision.
Updated: May 7, 2026
The score is a triage tool
Risk helps rank attention. It combines signals such as title, damage, mileage, sale history, source freshness, and other context where available. It does not tell you the bid.
Read the bucket and the reason
Low risk means fewer obvious warnings, medium means verify the story, and high means the lot needs a clear business reason to stay in the pipeline. Always read the supporting signals.
Use risk with margin
A higher-risk lot can still be a buy if the spread is real, repair path is known, and buyer channel accepts the title story. The score should force discipline, not replace judgment.
