Build watchlists and saved searches
Keep candidate lots, client context, and bid reasoning in one place.

Start with the watchlist, then the saved search
Use watchlists for internal triage. Promote only the stronger candidates into saved searches once the title, damage, sale timing, and bid ceiling make sense.
Write the tradeoff plainly
A good saved search says why the lot is interesting and what could still break the deal. It should not read like a sales page.
Keep stale lots visible
If a lot sells, disappears, relists, or changes date, update the saved-search context. A client decision built on stale auction timing is operational debt.
